RE-ORG methodology

Another way to use the tools of RE-ORG methodology for an ethnological collection

The methodology for reorganizing storage (RE-ORG) is going to be applied on an ethnological collection recently donated to the City of Montebelluna by a private citizen.

According to RE-ORG tools and guidance, developed by ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property) and UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), the Museum will manage the reorganization of this new collection, in terms of documentation and storage. Therefore in few months a new case study will be offered by this practical application of RE-ORG to the Zamprogno ethnological collection (by the name of the donor) strongly supported by the Museum of Natural History and Archaeology in Montebelluna-ITA.
